30.11.2019 — Actions to help homeless people survive the freezing weather are starting to take place in Prague this winter. Unlike in previous years, the city is allowing people with dogs to stay warm at night, whereas they were previously refused in dormitories. There are also more facilities available for those with health issues. The municipal police are taking part in the winter measures along with the social services.

15.8.2020 — There are not many people who would resist the beauty of lavender. Prague Botanical Garden grows a great number of this medicinal plant species in its outdoor exhibition, including whole lavender field which makes you feel like you are in the beautiful region of Provence. Lavender grows primarily is the western Mediterranean, and the lavender fields in the southeast of France are a great tourist attraction.

8.6.2020 — L'Institut français de Prague (French Institute of Prague) is holding an exhibition called 'Prague etc...' by Czech-French photographer Michael W. Pospíšil until the 4th of July. The exhibition is held at Gallery 35 on Štěpánská Street, part of the French Institute which supports connection between French and Czech art.

14.2.2020 — An English-Dutch experimental rock band is coming back to Café V lese for the third time, and once again, it will certainly be an unforgettable evening. The concert will take place in the music club in the Vršovice district of Prague on the 15th of February.

10.10.2019 — Up to 300,000 people are expected to come to Žofín Palace in Prague to pay their final respects to Karel Gott this Friday. Masarykovo Embankment, which is close to the venue, will be pedestrianised. The Office of the Government of the Czech Republic will work with the police, the army and Prague City Hall for the smooth organisation of the event.

11.12.2017 — Pražské městské části mají kvalitní projekty na prevenci kriminality. Ukázala to Soutěž k ocenění aktivit v oblasti prevence kriminality na území hl. m. Prahy, která byla vyhlášena u příležitosti 20. výročí nastavení systému prevence kriminality v hl. m. Praze.

4.4.2017 — Definitivní podoba dvou výdechových objektů z Tunelového komplexu Blanka v ulici Nad Octárnou a Nad Královskou oborou byla stanovena dnešním rozhodnutím rady hl. m. Prahy. Objekt v ulici Nad Octárnou bude dokončen dle původní dokumentace ke stavebnímu povolení z roku 2007, tedy ozeleněním betonového tubusu popínavými rostlinami. Konečná podoba objektu v ulici Nad Královskou oborou bude provedena opláštěním tubusu a vybudováním přilehlého parčíku dle architektonického návrhu Federika Diaze.

26.8.2008 — Neoprávněné zbourání památkově chráněné hrázděné čekárny

14.1.2005 — Zcela nový moderně vybavený dům pro seniory „Hvězda“ byl dnes slavnostně otevřen na Praze 6 – Břevnově díky podpoře Magistrátu hlavního města, Úřadu městské části Praha 6 a finančnímu příspěvku Německého červeného kříže. Dům je v pořadí už osmý, ale na území hlavního města první z nově vybudovaných objektů Českého červeného kříže určených pro důchodce.

21.5.2004 — Zahraniční studenty University třetího věku slavnostně přijal dnes (21.5.) v Brožíkově síni pražský radní Jan Slezák, do jehož kompetence spadá oblast školství.

23.10.2020 — Prague Botanical Garden was of the few places not affected by the government's Covid-19 restrictions, but unfortunately it had to close today. Hopefully, it will reopen soon so that visitors will be able to enjoy the beautiful autumn colours! The garden is truly magical in the autumn. Those who think that all flowers have already bloomed are mistaken. For example, the Ornamental Garden is still full of colour these days.

10.4.2010 — Primátor hl. m. Prahy Pavel Bém se včera zúčastnil prvního výročí Hard Rock Cafe Praha. Klub se nachází ve třech patrech historické budovy domu U Rotta na Malém náměstí, a včerejší oslavy 1. výročí od svého vzniku byly vskutku velkolepé. Restaurace pro téměř 400 osob, dva bary, obchod a klub se tak zaplnili oslavujícími návštěvníky.
