29.12.2019 — The city of Prague will welcome the year 2020 with a New Year's projection mapping called 'MY, PRAHA' ('WE, PRAGUE'), which will light up the National Museum's historic building on Wenceslas Square. Both the residents of Prague and visitors to the Czech capital will have the opportunity to see this relatively new form of spatial art on the 1st of January 2020 at 6:15pm, 7:15pm and 8:15pm.

17.12.2018 — The season of Advent, the four weeks leading into Christmas, is the time of Christmas markets where people are purchasing gifts for their loved ones and absorbing the Christmas atmosphere. Where will you find them in Prague? Traditionally, the largest two markets are in Staroměstské náměstí (Old Town Square) and Václavské náměstí (Wenceslas Square). This year's theme of the markets is fairy tales. The fairy tale motifs can be seen in the decorations. The daily performances on the stage in the Old Town Square is in line with the fairy tales theme. They will continue right through until the 6th of January 2019.

23.6.2019 — Most of the international contemporary dance festival KoresponDance will take place at the Castle in Žďár nad Sázavou, but the opening event will be in Prague. On the 25th of June, dancers will entertain the audience with three performances at the historical building of Invalidovna in Prague. One of the highlights of the evening will be a solo performance by James Batchelor, one of Australia's most amazing dance artists.

29.2.2020 — Prague City Hall intend to transform the Prague Market into a lively space with a wide range of shops, services and cultural activities for all generations, following the takeover of the market in Holešovice last year. The Prague Market, a former slaughterhouse, offers a rich cultural programme for the occasion of its 125th birthday this year.

28.8.2024 — All American Fest, který bude plný krásných motocyklů, adrenalinu, živé muziky, dobrého jídla a zábavy pro celou rodinu, se uskuteční v Praze od pátku 30. srpna do neděle 1. září.

29.5.2018 — Ve dnech 21. až 25. května proběhla v Bruselu při Evropské komisi mezinárodní konference o životním prostředí EU Green Week 2018. V tomto setkání evropských měst probíhaly diskuse, sdílení poznatků a zkušeností ohledně udržitelného rozvoje měst a přechodu k tzv. Green Cities.

27.5.2024 — Program pro celou rodinu nabídne v pondělí 3. června 2024 od 12:00 do 22:00 hodin street food festival na stanici metra C Ládví.

5.4.2011 — Primátor včera zahájil čtvrtý ročník veletrhu fotografie Prague Photo, který se koná pod jeho záštitou. V rámci vernisáže výstavy byla udělena cena UniCredit Bank Prague Photo Young Award mladému umělci do 35 let Janu Přibylskému – jeho zástupci převzali z rukou primátora symbolický šek na 50 tisíc korun.
