23.7.2020 — Na začátku července pražská organizace na podporu cestovního ruchu Prague City Tourism spolu s vedením města spustila kampaň "V Praze jako doma". Nejčastěji turisté v rámci kampaně vyrážejí do zoologické zahrady, na Petřínskou rozhlednu nebo Pražský hrad. Hotely vydávají denně v průměru tisíc voucherů, které odpovídají počtu ubytovaných osob.

23.4.2020 — Na letošní sezónu chystá hlavní město ve spolupráci s Prague City Tourism kampaň lákající do Prahy tuzemské návštěvníky, kterým chce také Praha nabídnout benefity na vstupném. Čeští návštěvníci mohou alespoň částečně zmírnit výrazný výpadek příjmů ze zahraničního turismu. Současná situace je zároveň podle radní Hany Třeštíková příležitostí, jak do budoucna přenastavit vnímání Prahy v očích zahraničních turistů a zbavit se levného alkoturismu.

9.2.2021 — V loňském roce turismus v Praze utrpěl obrovské ztráty. Podle údajů Českého statistického úřadu do Prahy přijelo jen 2 178 267 návštěvníků. Cestovní ruch v Praze se tak dostal na pouhých 27 procent roku 2019. Během letních prázdnin však Praha i díky programu V Praze jako doma zaznamenala nárůst počtu domácích turistů, a to o celých 16 procent oproti předcházejícímu roku.

3.12.2020 — Program V Praze jako doma na podporu cestovního ruchu, který nalákal v létě tisíce domácích i zahraničních návštěvníků, pokračuje i v prosinci a nabízí opět zajímavé benefity. Díky uvolnění vládních opatření se mohou návštěvníci v rámci programu opět těšit na volné vstupy vyplývající z pravidel programu a vydat se tak na oblíbená místa jako je Zoologická zahrada hl. m. Prahy, Petřínská rozhledna, vybraná muzea a galerie a další zajímavá pražská místa.

31.3.2021 — Prague City Hall, together with the Brainz Studios creative group, has today presented the globally unique service called Brejlando. It will offer experimental theatre experiences to its spectators in virtual reality (VR). With the help of state-of-the-art technologies and borrowed VR glasses, everyone can immerse in watching selected performances from Prague theatres from the comfort of their homes, as well as from a completely new angle - right from the stage, in close vicinity to the actors. The service is intended to help theatres and their fans overcome these difficult times of limited operation. However, at the same time, the initiators believe that they are establishing a new international trend that can become a permanent part of the theatres' offer.

1.2.2019 — Over the course of the year, The City of Prague Museum is preparing a total of six exhibitions. These exhibitions will show Prague past, with interesting historical crafts, as well as present-day Prague, with photographs by a well-known photographer. The museum has permanent displays, such as the archaeological collection in the main building, which is the museum's biggest collection and mostly comes from the museum's archaeological research. Collections of applied art are also valuable, including a high-quality collection of graphics. The most valuable part of this collection is the vedute, which are views of Prague, including its squares, individual street, important buildings, emerging suburbs and natural surroundings outside the city's baroque fortifications. Visitors can also admire these views in Langweil's model of Prague, which contains more than 2,000 buildings on a 1:480 scale, with all the fine details of facades, courtyards, gardens and farm outhouses belonging to buildings. In the case of many demolished historical buildings, Langweil's model of Prague is the only physical record of their appearance.
