12.7.2020 — Malostranská beseda has prepared a unique exhibition of photographs to celebrate the world-renowned photographer Jan Saudek's 85th birthday. Due to great popularity, the exhibition has been extended until the end of July. The exhibition includes 85 images from the artist's career, some of which have never been exhibited or published before. Saudek's correspondence and notes are also displayed.

19.2.2020 — The National Pedagogical Museum hosts an interesting exhibition that tells the life story of Jan Amos Comenius (Komenský in Czech) in a unique way. The 'KOMenský v KOMiksu' ('Comenius in the Comics') exposition will be open in the museum building on Valdštejnská Street until the 31st of December 2020.

27.10.2020 — Technická správa komunikací hl. m. Prahy (TSK) announced two public contracts for the restoration of Prague's Libeň Bridge, management of the construction and coordination of the entire project. The aim of the first contract is to select a supplier of the construction works and related design and engineering services. The selection process will be carried out in accordance with the FIDIC - Yellow Book conditions (Design & Build project type). The second public contract aims to find a suitable construction manager and project coordinator.

4.10.2019 — On the 5th of October, Prague Botanical Garden will host 'Slamák' festival, where you can 'experience the countryside in Prague'. Come to enjoy country life, have fun, relax and eat food fresh from the farm, all in a relaxed atmosphere.

16.9.2020 — LUSTR 2020, the 7th annual international illustration showcase, will take place between the 17th and the 22nd of September. This year, LUSTR Prague will also include comics for the first time. More than 40 participants from all over the world will exhibit in Campus Hybernská, and the programme will also include lectures, workshops, a festival shop, refreshments, music and a programme for children.

23.5.2020 — The spectacular Cosmos Discovery exhibition in Křižík's Pavilion E at the Prague Exhibition Grounds ('Výstaviště Praha') in Holešovice district in Prague 7 will guide you through the history of manned trips to space from their very beginnings to current and planned missions. You will not only experience the astronauts' feelings, but also how the ground staff felt.

8.7.2019 — On Saturday, the 13th of July, the oldest European streetball tournament - Prague International Streetball Cup - returns for its 17th year. The competition will take place in the heart of Prague, in Můstek in Wenceslas Square.

14.6.2020 — 'Hudební vycházky' (Music Walks) are outdoor classical music concerts which take place in Prague Zoo in front of Gočár's Houses. After fourteen successful years, the event has become a traditional part of summer at the zoo. Not only animal lovers, but also classical music fans, will be at the zoo every Sunday until the beginning of October. The open-air concerts will take place once again in front of Gočár's Houses at the top of the zoo for two hours on Sundays. More and more music lovers seek out the event for its informal setting and quality music.
