24.5.2019 — From the 26th of May to the 1st of June, rhythmic Roma music will sound throughout Prague as the 21st annual Romani festival, Khamoro, takes place. Khamoro ('sun' in the Roma language) is the biggest and the most famous professional Roma festival in the world. It has been held in Prague since 1999.

31.10.2019 — The 6th annual Aussie & Kiwi Film Fest introduces lesser-known cinematography from Australia and New Zealand to audiences in Prague. Aussie is an English slang term for Australians, and Kiwi is slang for New Zealanders. The festival takes place from the 1st to the 6th of November in Lucerna, Atlas and Ponrepo cinemas.

31.5.2019 — The season of food festivals is in full swing, with Prague Ice Cream Festival kicking off on the 2nd of June in Prague Exhibition Grounds (Výstaviště Praha).

17.7.2020 — The sixth annual film festival Das Sommerkino screens films from Germany, Austria and Switzerland during the summer holiday season. The screenings take place every Tuesday and Thursday in July, and every Monday and Wednesday in August. Das Sommerkino offers the best recent German language films with free admission. The films on the festival's programme were mostly successful at previous years of Das Filmfest, and won a number of prestigious international awards. The films which deal with current topics, insights into the recent past, as well as historical films will please cinema goers in Prague. Those who appreciate fine arts and architecture will also enjoy this year's programme. A total of 18 films will be screened, which will be a kind of preparation for the traditional autumn film festival Das Filmfest.

7.8.2019 — The International festival Letní Letná will bring the magical world of new circus in its various forms to Prague for the sixteenth time. The festival will take place from the 14th of August to the 1st of September.

19.6.2013 — Mladý mezinárodní festival reSITE, který si klade za cíl komplexní pohled na budoucnost měst jako míst k lepšímu životu, se odehraje od 19. do 23. června na několika místech české metropole. reSITE oživí město happeningy a kulturními akcemi s ambicí proměnit Prahu alespoň na pár dní v inspirující moderní evropskou metropoli. Na Karlově náměstí vyroste atraktivní pavilon coby středobod festivalu pro širokou veřejnost a v uměleckém centru DOX se na dvoudenní konferenci rozproudí diskuse světových odborníků nejrůznějších profesí.

16.10.2024 — V Praze se o tomto víkendu 19. a 20. října konají hned dva oblíbené gastro festivaly. V sobotu na Smíchovské náplavce a v neděli na Karlínském náměstí.

20.4.2010 — V dubnu a květnu se zaměstnanci pražského Dopravního podniku budou mocizdarma vypravit do divadla. Rada hl. m. Prahy dnes schválila uvolnění 3,3 mil. korun na nákup vstupenek na představení v repertoáru příspěvkových organizací Hudební divadlo v Karlíně, Městská divadla pražská a na lyrikál Kudykam ve Státní opeře Praha. Tento kulturní bonus je výrazem poděkováníza zvládnutí náročné dopravní situace ve městě v souvislosti s lednovousněhovou kalamitou.

3.3.2015 — Unikátní podívanou i umělecké povyražení připraví na nedělní večer francouzský hudebník Paul Meyer, jenž na dalším koncertu sezony PKF – Prague Philharmonia propojí své dirigentské i sólistické schopnosti. Jeden z nejpopulárnějších francouzských sólo klarinetistů na sebe vzal nelehký úkol – celkem ve čtyřech skladbách večera, který propojí dvě skladatelská témata sezony, se totiž chystá střídavě hrát i dirigovat. Přizváním tohoto všestranného umělce pro šestý orchestrální koncert, jenž se uskuteční v neděli 8. března, tak PKF pokračuje v oslavách 20 let své existence. Koncert, jehož původním dějištěm měl být Španělský sál na Pražském hradě, se nakonec odehraje ve Dvořákově síni Rudolfina.

14.2.2019 — Lovers of Nordic movies are certainly looking forward to this year's annual festival Nordic Film Winter. Running from the 14th to the 19th of February 2019, the festival will offer 26 movies from Norway, Sweden, Denmark, Finland, Iceland and Lithuania. For six of them, it will be their Czech premiere! All films are subtitled in English. The traditional feast Nordic and Baltic film production is coming to Czech and Moravian cinemas for the ninth time, with 22 cinemas from all over the country taking part in the event.
