29.9.2019 — Lunchmeat Festival, an annual international festival dedicated to advanced electronic music and new media art, will take place between the 30th of September and the 5th of October. This year, the tenth annual audio-visual festival will take place in four venues.

30.4.2020 — One hundred and thirty animals from over forty species have been born in Prague Zoo since it closed on the 13th of March 2020. With other animals still giving birth, including the rare Malayan tapir, zookeepers are wondering when the public will get to see them.

29.9.2019 — The American Center in Prague will host an exhibition called 'Villa Petschek Story' until the 8th of October, which narrates the story of the villa that has served as the United States Ambassadors' palatial residence since the year 1945. A photographic tour of the representative halls, which are usually closed to the public, and unique images from the building of the villa are included in the exhibition.

28.12.2019 — The Collegium 1704 Orchestra, which is dedicated to the interpretation of Baroque music, will perform music by the Italian Baroque masters with the vocal ensemble Collegium Vocale 1704 at their New Year's Eve concert in Rudolfinum in Prague.

29.5.2019 — The 21st international festival, "Prague Heart of Nations 2019", is the largest joint event for minorities in the Czech Republic, bringing a wealth of traditions from nations around the world. From the 30th of May to the 3rd of June, the festival will symbolically take place in the heart of Europe - the historical centre of Prague. Since 1999, musicians, singers and dancers have come to the Czech capital to perform traditional folk art from their native countries. This year, Prague will welcome a wide range of artists once again.

8.6.2021 — Praha odsouhlasila poskytnutí mimořádné finanční podpory na pořádání významných sportovních akcí, které se v letošním roce konají na území hlavního města. Celkově je pro tyto účely vyčleněna částka ve výši tří milionů korun.

19.1.2021 — Praha je tradičním centrem českého filmového průmyslu a oblíbenou destinací zahraničních filmových štábů. Prezentaci hlavního města Prahy v zahraničí prostřednictvím filmové a televizní tvorby město v roce 2016 aktivně podpořilo založením Nadačního fondu Prague Film Fund, který byl v roce 2022 přejmenován na Pražský audiovizuální nadační fond.

28.12.2017 — The annual New Year's Day firework in Prague will be held in the Czech national colours to mark the upcoming 100th anniversary of the birth of Czechoslovakia and it will be closed with the national anthem.

8.11.2017 — This year's celebrations will take place in Prague under the auspices of the Festival svobody (Freedom Festival), in places that are directly linked to the historical events. Parades, debates, concerts, and other events will take place in the streets of the city.

22.5.2020 — Prague City Gallery is slowly returning to normal operation after the closure due to the coronavirus pandemic. For example, visitors can admire 'Colorbond', a sculpture exhibition by Jan Kovářík, from mid-May. Troja Château Gardens belong to the most beautiful Baroque gardens in Prague. Art lovers can find many statues, rare decorative terracotta vases, pergolas, a maze and fountains there. Kovářík's sculptures will give the garden's visitors an additional artistic experience during the tourist season.

11.10.2016 — Dne 14. října 2016 se na pražském Andělu v hotelu Vienna House uskuteční summit s názvem News Impact Summit Prague. Na něm se odborníci přes žurnalistiku pokusí vysvětlit vše, co vše skrývá moderní stránka tohoto oboru.

20.3.2007 — Rozdělení 5 885 tisíc korun formou partnerství hlavního města Prahy při pořádání sportovních akcí v roce 2007 dnes schválila městská rad. Město podpoří pestrou škálu sportovních podniků: mezinárodní atletické závody ve skoku o tyči, cyklistický závod na horských kolech pro širokou veřejnost, mezinárodní turnaj v curlingu, mistrovství světa juniorů ve vzpírání, Prague International Marathon, házenou, tenis i kopanou.

5.9.2022 — Nadační fond Praha ve filmu Prague Film Fund se změní na Pražský audiovizuální nadační fond. Změna názvu reflektuje celosvětovou změnu názvosloví i trendů v audiovizi. Změny v pražském nadačním fondu připravilo město a správní rada nadace ve spolupráci s Asociací producentů v audiovizi (APA).

30.10.2019 — Like every year, Prague Botanical Garden is getting ready for the Halloween celebrations on the last day of October. 10.6.2008 — Rada hlavního města Prahy schválila přidělení finančních prostředků v celkové výši 5 780 000 korun na podporu sportovních akcí v roce 2008. Hlavní město Praha na tyto akce přispívá a podporuje je v rámci partnerství při jejich pořádání.
