30.6.2020 — Fans of new circus will be pleased to hear that Letní Letná, the popular new circus festival, will take place this year after all, and only part of the programme will be postponed until next year. The 17th annual Letní Letná festival will take place from the 18th to the 25th of August in Letenské sady in Prague. Unfortunately, the programme will not be the same, but it is still well worth a visit!

24.1.2019 — On Friday, the 1st of February 2019, schoolchildren in the Czech Republic will enjoy a school break. As in previous years, children will participate in project Ledová Praha by visiting monuments, museums and other centres of heritage in Prague. Over the long weekend from the 1st to the 3rd of February, families and groups of children will collect their Ledová karta, a free card that grants free or reduced admission to many museums and galleries in Prague, (such as the National Museum, the Jewish Museum in Prague and the Czech Police Museum) and other places of interest (for example, Prague Castle, Strahov Library and Loreta Praha). This year, about thirty historical and cultural centres of heritage are taking part.

4.4.2011 — V sobotu v pravé poledne odstartoval pražský primátor Bohuslav Svoboda 13. ročník světoznámého Hervis ½ Maratonu Praha. Letošní rok vyběhlo na trasu dlouhou 21, 0975 kilometrů 9 500 běžců.

5.10.2010 — Galerie Jaroslava Fragnera představí pražské veřejnosti několik zajímavých projektů vytvořených významnými architekty pro Hamburk – jak jednotlivé projekty a realizace, tak i ojedinělý stavební rozmach v HafenCity. Dnes ve 14.00 hodin proběhne v Kotelna Karlín Gallery slavnostní zahájení výstavního projektu Hamburk v Praze/Současná architektura Hamburku. Vernisáže výstavy se zúčastní radní hl. m. Prahy pro oblast kultury Ondřej Pecha spolu se zástupci německé strany.

19.9.2018 — Na slavnostní tiskové konferenci v Clam-Gallasově paláci v Praze byl představen koncept a program národních oslav 100 let republiky, které se uskuteční v našem hlavním městě. Oslavy společného století v Praze budou zahájeny 28. září znovuspuštěním orloje na Staroměstském náměstí a vyvrcholí o víkendu 27. a 28. října velkolepou oslavou v ulicích Prahy.

The 20th anniversary of the festival will bring music and harmony to the various venues in the city: Rudolfinum, Obecní dům (Municipal House), Pražský hrad (Prague Castle), Novoměstská radnice (New Town Hall), Kongresové centrum (Prague Congress Centre) and the hall in the city of Mladá Boleslav. You will be able to enjoy the pleasure of various types of classical music from various eras, such as orchestral music, chamber music or recitals. The audience will hear some very famous pieces as well as interesting music titles rarely performed.
