31.1.2019 — The National Museum in Prague has one of the largest paleontological collections in Europe. Now, the collection has expanded with even more specimens. For last year's 200th anniversary, the Museum received a unique gift - a collection of fossils of Tertiary flora and fauna.

1.6.2012 — Ministr dopravy Pavel Dobeš na dnešní tiskové konferenci představil konkrétní opatření, která by měla zmírnit negativní dopad těžké nákladní dopravy na život Pražanů do doby, než bude dostavěn Pražský okruh. Tiskové konference se rovněž zúčastnil primátor hlavního města Prahy Bohuslav Svoboda a náměstek primátora hl. m. Prahy pro oblast dopravy Josef Nosek.

4.1.2019 — On Sunday, the 6th of January 2019, the Epiphany, you will have the opportunity to witness a special procession of the Three Wise Men (the Three Kings) on camels in the streets of the Czech Capital. The parade will proceed from Malostranské náměstí via Karlův most (Charles Bridge) to the Staroměstské náměstí (Old Town Square), where the Jakub Jan Ryba's 'Czech Christmas Mass' (Česká mše vánoční) will be played and sung, concluding the procession and the Christmas season.

27.9.2023 — Proslulý cyklus koncertů Symfonického orchestru hlavního města Prahy FOK s názvem Stará hudba zahájí 10. října 2023 od 19:30 hodin v kostele sv. Šimona a Judy v Praze dirigent Roman Válek se svým souborem Czech Ensemble Baroque. Na programu je zařazena suita Znějící zeměpis, sestavená především z hudby Georga Philippa Telemanna, ale i dalších autorů.

1.12.2007 — Zítra 2. prosince 2007 se v tenisovém areálu Club Hotelu Praha uskuteční 11. ročník mezinárodního halového turnaje v tenise na vozíku „Prague Cup Czech Indoor 2007.“ Hlavní město Praha je spolupořadatelem této akce a na jedenáctý ročník poskytlo 350 tisíc korun. Pražský primátor Pavel Bém se zítra zúčastní finálového zápasu dvouhry hlavní kategorie mužů, následně pak ve 14.30 hodin vyhlásí výsledky a předá ceny vítězům mužské dvouhry i čtyřhry.

20.7.2017 — Dopravní podnik hl. m. Prahy (DPP) mění firmu na pronájem reklamních ploch na 300 autobusech MHD. Dne 26. června 2017 uzavřel smlouvu se společností Czech Outdoor, která tak poprvé po dvaceti letech střídá firmu Rencar. Změnu umožnilo výběrového řízení, ve kterém Czech Outdoor podal druhou nejvyšší nabídku ve výši 1,6 milionu korun.

8.7.2019 — On Saturday, the 13th of July, the oldest European streetball tournament - Prague International Streetball Cup - returns for its 17th year. The competition will take place in the heart of Prague, in Můstek in Wenceslas Square.

12.6.2024 — V sobotu 15. června 2024 se z pražského Strahova vydá na různě dlouhé trasy až 3500 amatérských cyklistů.

30.9.2010 — V rámci rekonstrukce, která proběhla na ÚMČ Praha 4 a vyžádala si investici 2,8 miliónu korun, je od dubna 2008 i pracoviště ověřování a Czech POINT na radnici Prahy 4, bezbariérové. Prostory jsou přístupné přímo z Táborské ulice. Občané zde naleznou pokladnu úřadu, pracoviště ověřování podpisů a listin a především stále využívanější Czech POINT.

30.6.2011 — V neděli 3. července 2011 se v Praze bude konat již 5. ročník tradičního mezinárodního závodu v dlouhém triatlonu „Czech Bigman 2011“, který je zařazen mezi nejprestižnější závody světové série. Akce je pořádána pod záštitou náměstka primátora hl. m. Prahy Antonína Weinerta. Cyklistická část tohoto závodu povede po Strakonické ulici a vyžádá si dopravní omezení na této komunikaci.

28.8.2017 — Hlavní město Praha podporuje rozvoj digitálního vzdělávání na středních školách, které zřizuje. Zavádění digitálních technologií do škol je pro metropoli jednou z hlavních priorit. Dnes, 28. srpna 2017, byl učiněn další krok. Hlavní město Praha zastoupené radní Irenou Ropkovou, Ministerstvo školství, mládeže a tělovýchovy reprezentované náměstkem ministra školství Jaroslavem Fidrmucem a za Czech ICT Alliance Michal Zálešák podepsali Memorandum o spolupráci.

1.4.2019 — In April, 'Mladí Ladí Jazz', the annual International Youth Jazz Festival in Prague, will bring seven evenings of concerts where world renowned stars will be performing, workshops and, of course, the traditional youth competition 'Jazzfruit'. The festival is looking for talents in contemporary jazz and the experimental scene from the Czech Republic and abroad, and introduce them to the public. Its main goal is to bring the attention of a young audience back to jazz music and restore traditions of this music in the Czech Republic.

29.6.2020 — 'Thank you Czech technicians' is an exhibition in the National Technical Museum, which expresses their gratitude to Czechs technicians for their help during the coronavirus pandemic. The exhibition will be open in the museum building in Letná until the 30th of September.

31.1.2020 — The exhibition at Prague Castle's Imperial Stables ('Císařská konírna') displays portraits by Czech artists starting with Josef Mánes, who was born 200 years ago this year. The exhibition, which was organised in cooperation with the Office of The President of the Republic, Prague Castle Administration and the Manes Association of Fine Artists, will run until the 22nd of March 2020.
