29.4.2019 — On the 30th of April 2019, the 33rd annual festival 'Mezinárodní týdny tance' (International Dance Weeks) will culminate in the Hybernia Theatre. For the first time, artists from all three Czech National Theatres will meet on one stage!

21.6.2007 — The Prague Pollen Monitoring Station of the Czech Pollen Information Service was put into operation in March 1993. The graphs presented demonstrate concentrations of the most significant airborne pollen allergens in Prague air during the last six years.

30.8.2017 — The third of the series of this year's world races RUNCZECH held in Prague is titled Birell Prague Grand Prix 2017 and will start on the Saturday evening of September 9th, in the city center.

15.8.2017 — Prague Startup Centre pořádá unikátní inkubační program Prague IoT Centre. Ten startupům v oblasti IoT a SmartCity nabízí nejen zkušené mentory, bezplatný vybavený IoT lab v centru Prahy, ale hlavně pomáhá získat pilotní zákazníky a investici.

20.10.2019 — Prague City Gallery has several dozen sculptures that are accessible to the public. We have already introduced some of them here on www.praha.eu. This time, we will look at Matyáš Bernard Braun's sculptures in Prague. The Austrian sculptor and woodcarver is one of the most important sculptors of the High Baroque period in the Czech Republic. Although he was not a Czech native, he created some of his most precious works in Bohemia.

31.10.2019 — Prague's integrated public transport system will soon undergo several changes. The development of the D metro line and new tram lines, large-capacity, convenient and comfortable transport, remains a priority. As regards bus lines, the city of Prague is preparing to adjust timetables in response to occupancy issues, especially in the quiet months of January and February, in order to make bus transport more effective.

4.9.2013 — V sobotu 7. září Praha zažije jedinečný závod horských kol Prague Downtown. Špičky MTB světa složené z českých i zahraničních jezdců se proženou historickým centrem Prahy a budou bojovat s umělými i přírodními překážkami na trase z Petřína, přes Strahovský klášter až na Pohořelec. Diváci si tak nenechají ujít nezapomenutelný adrenalinový zážitek. Na akci je VSTUP ZDARMA. Nebude chybět ani živý přenos závodu.

15.5.2015 — Praha se chystá do Frankfurtu na IMEX, jeden ze dvou nejvýznamnějších evropských veletrhů zaměřených na incentivní a kongresovou turistiku. Ten se uskuteční ve veletržní hale č. 8 od úterý 19. do čtvrtka 21. května. Je to vůbec poprvé, kdy Praha bude mít samostatnou expozici, která vznikla ve spolupráci organizací Prague City Tourism (Pražská informační služba) a Prague Convention Bureau. Na společném stánku se představí také devět spoluvystavovatelů, kteří působí na poli kongresové turistiky - od hotelů přes organizátory širokého spektra akcí až po atraktivní konferenční prostory. Prezentací na IMEXu chce Praha posílit své současné postavení na trhu incentivní a kongresové turistiky, kde nyní patří do TOP 10 nejvyhledávanějších evropských destinací, a oslovit nákupčí vyhledávající zajímavá místa pro pořádání svých akcí.

14.7.2022 — Užijte si jedinečné spojení skvělé hudby a prostředí Křižíkovy fontány na Výstavišti. Přijďte si v neděli 17. července na koncert Police Symphony Orchestra vychutnat unikátní zvuk hudebních nástrojů ve venkovním amfiteátru ve spojení se světelnými a vodními efekty.

9.7.2018 — Pražští strážníci se o prodlouženém víkendu zaměřili na turisty z takzvaných bike beer - pivních kol. V organizované akci sledovali zejména konzumaci alkoholu na místech zakázaných vyhláškou.

18.10.2022 — Ve středu 19. října rozezní Velký sál Novoměstské radnice koncert Kühnova smíšeného sboru. Program s podtitulem Dialogues Chorales bude mimo jiné provázet i vyhlášení vítězné skladby skladatelské soutěže pro české autory. Vstupné je dobrovolné.

6.11.2014 — V současné době jedno z nejprestižnějších míst pro organizaci kulturních a společenských událostí, multifunkční hala Forum Karlín, zahájila spolupráci s předním tuzemským orchestrem PKF – Prague Philharmonia (PKF). Forum Karlín se od počátku listopadu stalo domovskou scénou PKF a poskytuje filharmonii prostor pro zkoušky, vzdělávací koncerty pro děti a školy a její další hudební aktivity. Hala zároveň přivítala hudebníky z PKF i na generální zkoušce koncertu „Pocta Jarmile Novotné“ na zámku Liteň, jehož záznam odvysílá 17. listopadu Česká televize.

8.7.2020 — Transformace příspěvkové organizace Pražská informační služba do nové akciové společnosti hlavního města Prahy Prague City Tourism, a.s., byla dokončena. Dne 7. 7. 2020 zahájila Prague City Tourism (PCT) plnohodnotnou činnost jako oficiální organizace destinačního managementu hlavního města Prahy. Společnost povede představenstvo ve složení František Cipro (předseda představenstva), Václav Novotný (místopředseda představenstva) a Jana Adamcová (členka představenstva).

20.6.2019 — The French Institute in Prague ('Institut français de Prague') will open its doors to the general public on the 21st of June, the summer solstice.

25.7.2019 — The historical centre of Prague is hosting the international triathlon Ford Challenge Prague for the third year. This sporting event, which will take place on the 27th of July, is unforgettable for the athletes, as well as for fans and whole families.

14.6.2020 — 'Hudební vycházky' (Music Walks) are outdoor classical music concerts which take place in Prague Zoo in front of Gočár's Houses. After fourteen successful years, the event has become a traditional part of summer at the zoo. Not only animal lovers, but also classical music fans, will be at the zoo every Sunday until the beginning of October. The open-air concerts will take place once again in front of Gočár's Houses at the top of the zoo for two hours on Sundays. More and more music lovers seek out the event for its informal setting and quality music.

30.7.2019 — From the end of September, a campaign is taking place in the streets of Prague that will focus on the rules and regulations tourists need to follow in the Czech capital. The campaign is organised by Prague City Tourism in cooperation with the Night Mayor Jan Štern. It will focus on the behaviour of tourists in the most problematic parts of the town. Next year, it will be followed up by a long-term campaign that will specifically target tourists, thanks to the results of the STEM / MARK agency's survey on the behaviour of tourists in Prague at night.
