9.10.2020 — A new website was launched on the 5th of October which gives information on the next available testing dates for COVID-19 in Prague and is also connected to the booking systems for individual testing clinics. The website is designed for everyone who wants to get tested, both for those with a medical certificate and for people who want to check the average waiting times at selected testing sites.

7.6.2019 — From the 7th to the 9th of June, the traditional rowing race 'Pražské primátorky' will take place on the Vltava River with backing by the Mayor of the City of Prague. The most famous event of its kind in Prague, 'Pražské primátorky', was held for the first time in 1910, and has been held every year, with the exception of 1914 to 1918.

28.12.2019 — Prague City Gallery has prepared another guided tour of the Stone Bell House, one of the gallery's buildings, towards the end of 2019. Members of the public can view the historical interior of one of Prague's most valuable Gothic buildings on the 29th of December 2019.

16.10.2020 — As a result of the further government regulations in relation to the coronavirus pandemic, Prague Zoo in Troja has had to close again. The zoo currently expects to close for 17 days, which means a big loss for the zoo. How can you help? Although Prague Zoo is largely funded by Prague City Hall, its resources are limited. Therefore, the zoo is asking the public for help.

30.7.2020 — The residents of Prague will have the opportunity to sail down the Vltava River in a replica of a traditional boat called a 'šíf'. It is a large wooden boat, similar to a barge, which has been used to transport cargo including stones, sand, salt, grain and beer for centuries. This particular 'šíf' was built two years ago with support from Vltavan Čechy, a union which connects Vltava River associations from Prague, Davle, Štěchovice and Purkarec.

5.8.2020 — The 5th annual Sabor Latino Festival, a vibrant celebration of Latin American music, craft, food and drink, will take place from the 6th to the 9th of August in Republic Square (Náměstí Republiky) in Prague.

4.10.2019 — The 6th annual Be2Can film festival will take place in Prague from the 2nd to the 8th of October. The festival will feature award winning films from the three most prestigious film festivals: the Berlin International Film Festival, Cannes Film Festival and the Venice Film Festival, along with many other excellent movies.

29.12.2019 — The city of Prague will welcome the year 2020 with a New Year's projection mapping called 'MY, PRAHA' ('WE, PRAGUE'), which will light up the National Museum's historic building on Wenceslas Square. Both the residents of Prague and visitors to the Czech capital will have the opportunity to see this relatively new form of spatial art on the 1st of January 2020 at 6:15pm, 7:15pm and 8:15pm.

19.6.2019 — There will be over 40 unique concerts at the fourth annual pop and rock Metronome Festival Prague. The festival will take place on the 21st and 22nd of June in Prague Exhibition Grounds and this year's programme will once again be filled with music stars, both from the Czech Republic and abroad. A great accompanying programme will be part of the festival. 23.9.2020 — The National Memorial on the Vítkov Hill hosts an exhibition 'We want to be free, we will be free!', which is dedicated to the establishment of the independent State of Latvia. The exhibition will be open in the Ceremonial Hall until the 4th of October.

11.6.2010 — Rada hl. m. Prahy schválila text Memoranda o spolupráci mezi hl. m. Prahou a Českými drahami. Předpokládá se, že tak dojde k propojení pražské opencard a In-karty ČD. Díky tomu bude možné využívat některé služby obou karet pouze na jedné z nich. Dokument za hlavní město podepíše v nejbližší době primátor Prahy Pavel Bém.

31.1.2020 — The exhibition at Prague Castle's Imperial Stables ('Císařská konírna') displays portraits by Czech artists starting with Josef Mánes, who was born 200 years ago this year. The exhibition, which was organised in cooperation with the Office of The President of the Republic, Prague Castle Administration and the Manes Association of Fine Artists, will run until the 22nd of March 2020.

30.6.2003 — V sobotu odpoledne poblahopřál primátor hl.m.Prahy MUDr.Pavel Bém ve slavnostně vyzdobené Míčovně Pražského hradu absolventům Univerzity of New York in Prague. Ocenil jejich studijní výsledky na prestižní škole a popřál studentům úspěch v životě, který je pro ně i díky absolutoriu americké univerzity otevřen dokořán.
