1.4.2019 — In April, 'Mladí Ladí Jazz', the annual International Youth Jazz Festival in Prague, will bring seven evenings of concerts where world renowned stars will be performing, workshops and, of course, the traditional youth competition 'Jazzfruit'. The festival is looking for talents in contemporary jazz and the experimental scene from the Czech Republic and abroad, and introduce them to the public. Its main goal is to bring the attention of a young audience back to jazz music and restore traditions of this music in the Czech Republic.

30.4.2019 — Originating from a pagan feast, 'pálení čarodějnic' or 'čarodějnice' for short, a Czech version of Saint Walpurgis Night, has become a folk custom and tradition.

29.12.2019 — If you come to the National Museum of Agriculture in Prague before the 1st of August 2020, you will be able to admire a photo exhibition called 'Jindřich Štreit and Cycles'. Jindřich Štreit is a world-renowned Czech photographer and according to him, agriculture is his life theme.

30.10.2019 — Like every year, Prague Botanical Garden is getting ready for the Halloween celebrations on the last day of October. 25.10.2019 — The first official aerial sports championships in the Czech Republic and Slovakia will begin in Prague. You can come and see the elegant sport, where acrobats dance in the air with the aid of scarves, on the 26th of October in Královské Vinohrady. Aerobics and fitness are not as popular as adrenaline-filled sports. However, aerial acrobatics has recently experienced a great boom. And it's not just about the competition. Like any sport, aerial dancing can be practiced for fun.

9.9.2008 — Na stránkách aplikace dopravní kamery on-line, kterou spustil Magistrát hl. m. Prahy v dubnu letošního roku, přibyly nové užitečné funkce. Na interaktivní mapě města naleznou motoristé ikony úsekových měřičů nejvyšší povolené rychlosti, sledování průjezdu křižovatek na signál „stůj“ a také informace o dopravních nehodách a omezeních. Aplikace dostala i nový atraktivní design, který usnadňuje orientaci v mapě metropole. Záběry z 69 dopravních kamer, které usnadňují řidičům cestu po nejvytíženějších tazích města a jsou aktualizovány každou minutu, se nacházejí na internetových stránkách Portálu hl. m. Prahy www.praha.eu. Registrovaní uživatelé mají možnost uložit si cestu, kterou často využívají a následně si ji prohlédnout v mobilních telefonech a PDA zařízeních, která mají přístup na internet. Stránky byly od doby svého spuštění navštíveny téměř 200 tisíckrát, pravidelně je využívá 40% návštěvníků.

26.9.2019 — RefuFest is a festival that creates space for people from all over the world to meet and express solidarity with refugees. Discover other cultures thanks to music, dance, theatre and other forms of cultural expression. The festival will take place in Invalidovna in Karlín in Prague on the 27th and 28th of September, while Thursday the 27th of September is reserved for schools.
