14.1.2020 — On Monday, the 6th of January, Prague Zoo announced that they have started a collection to help the Australian fauna threatened by fires. Over one million CZK has already been collected. 160,000 CZK of this, which comes from the "Three Crowns of Entry Fee" project, has already headed to the Bushfire Emergency Wildlife Fund managed by Zoos Victoria, after being approved by Prague City Council on the 10th of January.

1.3.2011 — Ve středu 2. března 2011 proběhne na celém území České republiky pravidelná zkouška provozuschopnosti jednotného systému varování a vyrozumění. Ve 12.00 hodin se rozezní sirény, které budou vysílat zkušební nepřerušovaný tón po dobu 2 minut. Na území hlavního města Prahy budou těsně před polednem na zkoušku lidé upozorněni prostřednictvím elektronických „mluvících" sirén. Informace zazní v českém a anglickém jazyce.

30.4.2020 — There has been ongoing work to improve the area surrounding the Martiňák Pond (rybník Martiňák) between Černý Most and Dolní Počernice over the past few years.

10.2.2019 — This year, the capital plans to continue renewing the quays. The Prague Councillor for Property, Jan Chabr, wants to support more public events for children and families, during the winter as well as the summer. For example, on Saturday 2nd February, traditional farmers' markets will start on Rašínovo nábřeží quay. Jan Chabr would like to see similar events take place.
